What a difference a year makes!! Last night some of our board members drove out to Slaton to watch Xavier play football again. For those not familiar with his story, on October 23, 2015 Xavier collapsed in cardiac arrest during football game. He was resuscitated and has had a long journey to recovery. He is the driving reason we formed our organization. We are determined to prevent sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) in athletes such as Xavier. While Xavier’s return did not bring a win for his team (Slaton lost to Floydada) we are so thankful that Xavier was able to make a full recovery and get back to the sport he loves. Here are some photos from last night.
