KAMC – October 9, 2016: Sunday, over 100 Slaton ISD students packed into Lubbock Heart Hospital to receive free heart screenings. The event was hosted by Operation Screen Your Athlete who provided screenings.

Fox 34 – October 9, 2016: Operation Screen Your Athlete held a special heart screening event for Slaton ISD at the Lubbock Heart Hospital Sunday, where more than 120 students were checked out. OSYA’s total number of students screened since starting the organization last fall is close to 400 students.
